Polar launches the RS800CX Pro Team Edition - the ultimate tool for pro cyclists
2009/05/06Kempele, Finland - 5. April, 2009 - Polar, market leader and pioneer in heart rate training technology, has introduced a special edition of its high-end cycling product with an amazing new design, making the RS800CX Pro Team Edition the ideal tool for top professional cyclists.
The RS800CX Pro Team Edition is the most advanced and flexible training tool for serious cyclists who appreciate versatile training features, providing total freedom on and off the saddle. This limited edition comes with speed and cadence sensors for cycling and is also fully compatible with the range of other W.I.N.D. sensors from Polar. During the 2009 cycling season Polar will be the official supplier of 11 top pro cycling teams, meaning the RS800CX Pro Team Edition will be used by top riders from the teams like Quick.Step, Rabobank, and Caisse d'Eparge.
Data on speed and cadence combined with heart rate provides pro cyclists with the most profound understanding of their training and helps further improve their cycling technique and performance. In addition, the RS800CX Pro Team Edition records positioning information with the optional G3 GPS sensor and enables users to download route information to their PC after their training session. Routes are shown in ProTrainer 5, the software included with the RS800CX Pro Team Edition, and can also be easily exported to other mapping and positioning software such as Google Earth.
